The Upper Rhine Ports partnership
Partnerships are a strong element in the strategy of the PAS Group. Major projects undertaken by the PAS involve partnerships .
In 2012, the PAS was behind a partnership that is unique in Europe – Upper Rhine Ports. This is an alliance of nine ports on the upper part of the Rhine, in France, Germany and Switzerland:
Ludwigshafen, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Kehl, Strasbourg, Colmar/ Neuf-Brisach and RheinPorts Basel-Mulhouse-Weil.
Upper Rhine Ports is currently developing the first information system common to several inland ports in different countries allowing the management of container traffic on the Rhine.
